How Do I Turn On A Bullet Camera?

Bullet cameras actually does not have a pocket for batteries, however, you will notice two cords coming out the back of the camera. One cord has a male end for video and female connector for a power connection.


What Do I Need To Do To Get A Video Feed?

To setup video for a bullet camera, you are going to need a bnc connector and a piece of RG59 cable. These two parts are how you connect to your bullet camera and then the bullet camera can transmit it's video signal through the cable to a DVR, QUAD or T.V. input.


How Do I Power A Bullet Camera?

Remember that you always have an adapter with your camera. To simply turn it on you just need to connect your female power pigtail connector to your adapters male ping plug. This is a more temporary way to connect power to a bullet camera. It works great for short distance setups, like in a baby room, gas station counter ets. However, if you have more than three bullet camera, then you are going to need power supply box, which acts as a distribution for power in a one-unit solution. Can Bullet Cameras See In The Dark?

Not all bullet cameras have the ability to see in total darkness. However, we do sell bullet cameras that have infrared led built into the camera and given a total darkness situation, the camera will switch on the infrared light and see in high resolution video. In most cases the infrared picture in the dark has fine and sharp pixels. If you need to to see in absolute total darnkess, then infrared capable bullet cameras is what you need. The good news is that most of our bullet cameras have color and infrared capabilities.


What Does A Varifocal Bullet Camera Do?

Varifocal bullet cameras have adjusteable lens that enable you to adapt your security camera settings (like field of vision and distance), this can proove to save a lot of headache in the future. Most bullet cameras have fixed lens, however, there are several type of bullet cameras that have 4mm - 9mm settings. They even have super wide ranges at 2.5mm - 12mm lens setting. The adujusting of the lens range will help you focus the camera to the right degree.
